McMichael Presents OZ in the 2016 One-Act Play UIL ContestMcMichael Middle School competed in the UIL District 16-5A Middle School/ Junior High One-Act Play Contest on January 23,2016 at Lufkin High School.

“All students did a great job,” said McMichael Middle School Choir Director, Nicole Stewart.

Two students received awards for their performances in Don Zolidis’s OZ. Lauran Allbee received an individual award for All Star Cast Member for her role as the Cowardly Lion. Kennedy Heath won Honorable Mention All Star Cast for her role of Beth.

Nicole Stewart was the director of the McMichael Middle School’s performance of OZ. Assistant Director was Angelina Martinez.

Cast and crew members included: Kennedy Heath, Ruby Martinez, Cameron Daniels, Meghann Johnson, Shakaila Calhoun, Kamden Hathaway, Lauren Allbee, Joshua Hall, Nayeli Martinez, Alyssa Ibarra, Alyssa Richards, Charles Franklin, Mi’azjuwa Hill, Kelsey Price, Mackenzie Taylor, Tyana Duffield and Kendall Douglass.

Nacogdoches ISD would like to congratulate these McMichael Middle School students for all their hard work and dedication in representing our district at the UIL One-Act Play Contest. Nacogdoches ISD is very proud of our UIL students and their accomplishments.
